Second Consortium Board meeting will be held in TU Delft 18-20 October, 2006.

The one year report (IR2) was sent to Tempus headquarter
on 30 September, 2006.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering on 27 September changed the name.
The new name is Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies.

The new academic year at Faculty of Electrical Engineering – Skopje started on 27 September, 2006 at 10 o’clock with the first class for newcomers given by the Dean.



 

Introducing two-tier studies in the field of metrology.
Project duration
2 years: 1.09.2005 – 31.08.2007

The project “Introducing two-tier studies in the field of metrology” is focused on updating of existing and introducing new subjects in the field of metrology and electrical measurements for undergraduate study at Faculty of Electrical Engineering – Skopje and Faculty of Technical Sciences – Bitola, Macedonia. The another task of the project is developing of one year postgraduate curriculum in the field of electrical measurements at FEE – Skopje.

The project has an intention to be a part of reformation process and overall activities in higher education system in Republic of Macedonia towards implementation of European standards according Bologna declaration.

 

The project activities and outcomes are following:

Up-dating of basic courses in the field of metrology and electrical measurements obligatory for all students at FEE – Skopje and FTS - Bitola. New specialized courses for third and fourth year students from different directions will be introduced.

Development of new one-year postgraduate curriculum in the field of electrical measurements at FEE - Skopje.

Up-grading of three laboratories, two teaching laboratories at FEE - Skopje and FTS - Bitola and metrology laboratory at FEE – Skopje.



• Fourth activity is development of vocational lifelong courses for professionals from industry.

Students mobility is last, but not least activity foreseen in the project. Some of the best students will have opportunity to spend a part of their study abroad and enhance their engineering knowledge and language skills which will improve their starting position in job seeking process.

Ongoing Activities:
The laboratory for electrical measurements at Faculty of Electrical Engineering - Skopje is renovated. Renovation is paid by Faculty funds.

The new laboratory equipment are implementing in lab exercises at FEE Skopje .

The new computers arrived at FTS Bitola.
